We are pleased to invite you to the III Finnish-Russian Educational Forum which will take place in Helsinki on the 23rd of January 2020.

High quality of education is crucial for the majority of Russian families. At the same time, 32% of people in Russia and about 40% in Moscow consider the quality of education in Russia nowadays as low. Main problems relate to lack of schools and educational facilities, outdated equipment, programs, didactic materials and tools as well as a pedagogical approach. Another problem is the lack of highly qualified teachers, who are aware of new needs in education and motivated to use new methods. There is a big demand for teachers’ training programs.

The market is very big and actively growing. 17 mln children are studying in schools in Russia, almost 9 mln are attending kindergartens. Total market volume exceeds 20 bln euro.

As Finland is known as a country with a high level of education there is substantial demand for Finnish solutions and competences in Russia.

The program «Finnish Educational Marathon» has been focusing on spreading information about the Finnish Educational System and establishing business links between the Russian-speaking countries and Finnish education experts and companies during the last two years. The main event to establish cooperation with Russian-speaking countries and Finland market players is the Finnish-Russian Educational Forum.

We invite Finnish education experts and EdTech companies to participate in the III Finnish-Russian Educational Forum in Helsinki on the 23rd -25th of January 2020.

Early-bird registration is already opened

Among other sessions we will have a special session for the Finnish companies interested in entering the Russian market via discussion of the main options, peculiarities of the market and partnership opportunitities.
