Kazakhstan’s procurement legislation has undergone significant changes as of 1 January 2026. The former system of industrial certificates has been replaced by a register of domestic manufacturers, and products available on the Kazakhstani market must now be registered in the national goods catalogue.

This online training helps you understand the latest legislative changes and avoid potential challenges.

Topics covered during the training:

• Public procurement in Kazakhstan and key procurement principles
• Register of goods producers – who it applies to
• Register of domestic manufacturers; definition of a Kazakhstani product
• Buyers’ own requirements: specific procurement obligations of quasi-state companies
• Procurement methods in practice: implementation, auctions, e-marketplace and purchases from suppliers

The event will be held in English.

Online training is open for everyone. For EastCham member’s it is free of charge, for non-members €150 + VAT.
