New Senior Market Analyst and Intern Join EastCham’s Kyiv and Helsinki Offices
Hanna Kuzmenko and Pyry Ahonen started on May 25.
EastCham is strengthening its operations by appointing Hanna Kuzmenko as Senior Market Analyst in the Kyiv office and Pyry Ahonen as an intern in the Helsinki office.
Hanna begins her role bringing over 12 years of experience in analytics, market research, and strategic communications. She has a strong background in international expert roles, having previously worked at Caparol Ukraine in strategic communications and business intelligence, at Kantar in marketing analytics and qualitative research, and at Nestlé Ukraine as a Research Manager.
In her role, Hanna will focus on supporting Finnish companies’ success in the Ukrainian market and will work on the Pro Ukraine project as well as other joint initiatives of EastCham and the Confederation of Finnish Industries (EK). Her professional focus is on combining analytics, research expertise, and strategic communications to help clients make informed decisions and build sustainable business in Ukraine.
Pyry Ahonen is starting as an intern at the Helsinki office, where he follows the markets of Ukraine and Central Asia and produces news and member newsletters. Pyry is pursuing a master’s degree at the Oulu Business School, majoring in business analytics, and he speaks Ukrainian in addition to Finnish, English, and Russian.
Olena Kutsai, Head of the Kyiv office, has completed her role in Kyiv and moving on to new opportunities.

The Kyiv office serves Finnish companies and offers concrete opportunities for Finnish businesses to participate in the reconstruction efforts in Ukraine. The Kyiv office is a joint initiative of EastCham and the Confederation of Finnish Industries (EK). The office supports Finnish companies by providing market research and partner search services directly from Kyiv. These services aim to help companies successfully enter the Ukrainian market.
