Kazakhstan Construction Industry Report 2024

Approximately two-thirds of Kazakhstan’s population live living in urban centres placing strains on existing urban infrastructure in terms of housing, healthcare and education provision. Utilities infrastructure has suffered from years of under-investment and requires significant modernisation and expansion.

Under the 2029 Plan, the government will invest more in urban planning and infrastructure. Kazakhstan is forecasting a 6% increase in its population between 2024 and 2029.
