Honkajoki Oy processes organic products in accordance with the principles of the circular economy. The company recycles the by-products of the food industry and offers its customers responsibly produced high-quality renewable raw materials for animal nutrition, biofuels and fertilizers.
In practice, Honkajoki manufactures protein products used in animal nutrition as well as fat from edible by-products of animals inspected and approved for food use and which have been delivered to their process in less than a day. From other by-products and animals that have died on farms, Honkajoki makes meat and bone meal for fertilizer use, material for energy production, and raw material for biofuels.
