Peikko opens a factory in Ukraine - "We can help rebuild Ukraine"
Operations will begin in early 2025.
Peikko, a provider of construction solutions, has signed a contract with Bila Tserkva Industrial Park to build and establish production and warehouse facilities in Ukraine, Peikko announces.
Operations in the new 2,400-square-meter leased premises will start in early 2025. The location is a relatively new industrial area in Bila Tserkva, a city with 200,000 residents southwest of Kyiv, near good railway, highway, and port connections. New recruitments are planned to start later this year
Peikko entered the Ukrainian market by opening a design and sales office in Kyiv in 2023. The new factory unit will both support the existing customer base and be part of Ukraine’s rebuilding efforts.
– As a forerunner in the construction industry, it is our privilege to be present in growing markets. With Peikko’s solutions, we can help rebuild Ukraine with less workforce, in a cost-efficient and time-saving manner, says Peikko’s CEO, Topi Paananen, in the announcement.”
