EastCham invites member companies to meet with representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Helsinki. The EBRD was created after the fall of the Berlin Wall to support the private sector through short-, medium- and long-term loans and invest in minority equity stakes. The EBRD works in 36 economies with strong local presence with over 50 offices. Typically, the EBRD finances around 400 transactions in corporate sectors (industries, agribusiness, retail, telecoms, media and technology, property and tourism, private equity and venture capital funds), financial sectors (banks, insurance, leasing), energy and infrastructure (power plants, concessions for airports and motorways, etc).

Meeting gives companies an excellent way to find out more about financing instruments in Central Asia and South Caucasus, particularly in manufacturing and services, and agribusiness sectors.

The event is organized in cooperation with EK, East Office and EastCham.

Ms Ana Draskovic, Director, Business Development EBRD will give an overview of the opportunities for Finnish companies.
Sectoral specialists from EBRD will also take part in the discussion.

Ilkka Salonen, chairman of both EastCham and East Office, will moderate the discussion.

The event is only offline and in English language, no interpretation provided.

There is only a limited number of seats available.

Note! Registration by 3.2.2023
