Suurlähettiläs Olga Dibrova kutsuu suomalaisyritykset mukaan Olena Zelenskan säätiön talohankkeeseen

Ukrainan Suomen-suurlähettiläs Olga Dibrova on lähestynyt EastChamia pääsiäisenä kirjeellä, jossa hän kiittelee suomalaisten yritysten osoittamasta tuesta.

Dibrova kutsuu yritykset osallistumaan Olena Zelenskan säätiön Room for Childhood -hankkeeseen, jossa rakennetaan uusia koteja kotinsa menettäneille suurille sijaisperheille. CLT-elementeistä rakennettavat talot ovat kokonaispinta-alaltaan 285,5 neliömetriä ja niihin sisältyy myös maanalainen väestönsuoja.

Yhden rakennuksen hinta on 350 000 euroa. Säätiö etsii talojen rakentamista varten lahjoituksia. Yhden suomalaisrahotteisen talon rakentamiseen tarvitaan siten vähintään tuon suuruinen summa lahjoituksia.

First of all, I wish you a very happy Easter, God’s blessings, good health and warmth of love to you and your beloved ones.

I thank you once again for your unwavering support of Ukraine and withdrawal of your businesses from Russia, thus helping us to deprive the aggressor of financial resources to wage the brutal war against innocent people.

I appreciate your interest to the rebuilding of Ukraine and believe that many mutually beneficial projects can be implemented.

We greatly value your numerous donations and humanitarian assistance through different channels. It is very much needed in Ukraine since the aggressor continues to target civilian population causing more and more destructions and sufferings.

I am often asked: “How can we help Ukraine as people in a concrete way?” In this regard I would like to offer for your consideration the project “Room for Childhood” launched by the first lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska. The project aims to build new homes for large foster families, whose homes were occupied or destroyed/damaged by Russian troops.

The project is implemented by the Olena Zelenska Foundation. 14 houses have already been constructed. 4 families are living in their new houses. Another 10 will get their keys within few months.

The cost of the accommodated home is approximately 350 000 euros.

As of now at least 80 large foster families in Ukraine have lost their homes because of the war.

The Olena Zelenska Foundation has received a generous donation of 100 000 euros from the initiative UkraineAid 2.0.

As mentioned the target is at least 350 000 euros to build at least one “Finnish house” for ten children and two parents.

100% of donations go directly to the project without any administrative costs.

Your help will be very valuable for the most vulnerable who are suffering – the Ukrainian children.
